      Summary: StellarTab does NOT collect, store, transmit, profile, or sell any personal data. All horoscope computations, zodiac preferences, and lunar calculations run 100% locally on your device.
    

1. Single Purpose

StellarTab replaces the default Chrome new tab page with an interactive astrology dashboard featuring daily horoscopes, lunar phase tracking, and celestial mini-games entirely processed locally.

2. Data Collection and Usage

StellarTab adheres strictly to a zero data collection policy:

No Personally Identifiable Information (PII): We do not collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, or account credentials.
No Web Browsing Activity: We do not track, record, or monitor websites you visit, search terms, or browser history.
No Telemetry or Analytics: We do not use Google Analytics, cookies, tracking pixels, or third-party monitoring SDKs.
No Remote Transmission: No user inputs, horoscope views, or game interactions are ever transmitted to any remote servers.

3. Permissions and Justifications

StellarTab requests only the absolute minimum permissions necessary to function:

storage: Required exclusively to locally persist your selected zodiac sun sign, display preferences, and theme configuration on your local device (via chrome.storage.local). This data never leaves your computer.

4. Data Storage and Security

All application state is saved directly within Chrome's sandboxed local storage on your machine. We do not operate external databases, cloud servers, or third-party storage infrastructure for this extension.

5. Data Retention and Deletion

You have complete control over your data. Because all information is stored locally on your device, uninstalling StellarTab from your browser immediately and permanently deletes all stored preferences and settings.

6. Children's Privacy

StellarTab does not collect any data from any users, including children under the age of 13.

7. Compliance with Chrome Web Store Policies

StellarTab complies with the Chrome Web Store Developer Program Policies, including the Single Purpose Policy, User Data Policy, and Limited Use requirements. Personal data is never sold, transferred, or used for creditworthiness or personalized advertising.
