EdgeKit Design System Upgrade
Overview
Successfully upgraded the EdgeKit browser extension with a comprehensive design system based on Lovable.dev’s modern aesthetic.
Key Improvements
1. Design Tokens & Variables
- Color System: Implemented semantic color tokens with dark mode support
- Primary colors: blue, emerald, amber, red with light/dim variants
- Surface hierarchy: bg → surface → surface-2 → surface-3
- Text hierarchy: text → text-dim → text-muted
- Border colors with subtle transparency
- Typography:
- Font weights: light (300) → regular (400) → medium (500) → semibold (600) → bold (700)
- Font families: system sans-serif and monospace stacks
- Consistent font sizes across components
