Delete your InvTrack account

Use this page to ask us to delete your InvTrack account and all the data linked to it. You do not need the app installed. Your account and data will be deleted within 7 days of your request (usually within 2 days). You can also delete your account inside the app: Settings → Data & Account → Delete Account.

How to request deletion

1. Sign in with the same Google account you use in InvTrack.
2. Tick the confirmation box and press Request deletion.
3. You have 24 hours to change your mind: come back to this page, sign in and press Withdraw request.

What is deleted

• Every record synced from the app: investments, cash flows, archived items, goals, expected income, document metadata, FIRE settings, profile, health-score history and cached exchange rates.
• Your sign-in account itself (the Google link or guest account).
• Files and the offline copy on your phone are yours to remove: uninstall the app or clear its storage in Android Settings.

What we keep, and for how long

• An anonymised deletion record (a one-way hash of your user ID, counts and dates, no email or name), kept as proof that the deletion happened. We aim to remove these records after 12 months.
• Google's encrypted backups of the database, for a short period under Google's own schedule, then permanently erased.
• Usage, crash and performance data from Firebase Analytics, Crashlytics and Performance Monitoring. It is tied to your user ID and device identifiers and is kept by Google for its own retention period for each service, then deleted automatically. We may ask Google to delete it sooner. Individual crash reports cannot be deleted; they expire automatically.
• Support emails, until your question is answered.

Guest accounts

A guest account has no email address, so it cannot be identified from outside the app and cannot be requested here. To delete a guest account and its data, open the app and go to Settings → Data & Account → Delete Guest Data before you uninstall the app. If you have already uninstalled the app or signed out of the guest account, you can no longer reach that guest data and we cannot match it to you. It stays stored until an inactive-guest cleanup removes it.

Cannot sign in with Google?

Email support@invtracker.app with the subject "InvTrack account deletion request" from the email address of the Google account you used. We will confirm it is you and complete the deletion within 7 days of confirmation, and in any case within 30 days.
