This Privacy Policy describes how TelePort ("the App", "we", "us", or "our") handles information collected from users of our application. TelePort is designed as a local connectivity tool for Android TV and mobile devices.

1. No Collection of Personal Information

We believe in absolute user privacy. TelePort does not collect, transmit, store, or share any personal information. This includes but is not limited to:

• Names, email addresses, phone numbers, or account details.
• Location data or GPS coordinates.
• Device identifiers (such as IMEI or MAC addresses).
• Photos, files, contacts, or calendar data.

2. Screen Casting and Media Projection

To enable screen casting from your mobile device to your Android TV, the App utilizes Android's MediaProjection API. This process is executed entirely locally on your device and Wi-Fi network. No video or audio content captured during screen projection is ever stored by us, nor is it sent to external servers or third parties.

3. Local Network Data Transmission

TelePort facilitates connection between devices via your local area network (LAN) over Wi-Fi using Network Service Discovery (NSD) and WebSocket connections. All communication and data transfer (such as controller inputs, discovery signals, and media streams) occur directly between the paired mobile device and the TV. No network data goes through our or any external servers.

4. Camera Permission (QR Code Pairing)

The App may request access to your device's camera. This permission is used solely to scan the pairing QR code displayed on your TV screen to establish a connection. No images or video recordings are saved, stored, or transmitted.

5. Third-Party SDKs

TelePort integrates Google AdMob for advertising and Google Play Billing for in-app purchases. These SDKs may collect limited device information as described below. We do not integrate any other third-party tracking tools or analytics platforms. There is no tracking of your activity across websites or other apps.

6. Advertising

TelePort displays advertisements via Google AdMob on the mobile phone remote interface only. Advertisements are never shown on the TV screen. We use Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) to obtain consent for personalized advertising in regions where this is required (EU/EEA, UK, California).

TelePort does not collect or share your Advertising ID (AD_ID). All ads served are contextual and not based on your browsing history or personal profile.

7. In-App Purchases

TelePort offers optional premium subscriptions and tip jar purchases processed entirely through Google Play Billing. We do not collect, store, or process any payment information directly. All billing is handled by Google Play. Purchase receipts are stored locally on your device to verify your subscription status.

8. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page with the updated effective date.
